Operations

Isizinda Aluminium has identified and engaged various relevant stakeholders to ensure that its vision is realized. These include among others BHP- Billiton, the sole local producer of primary aluminium in South Africa, the three levels of government, the Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone company and other interested aluminium value-added products investors.

We envisage a phased approach to a fully fledged aluminium hub, starting with aluminium slab production for Hulamin to continue to make its rolled products, followed by other associated industries from 2016 onwards.
